Overall looking at my research I know that for our film to be successful, we need to target it at both males and females, aged 13+.
Therefore, our film should:
- Include a man
- Include a woman
- Have a dramatic twist to it
- Include a couple who are in love or fall in love
- Include dark, shadowy lighting for dramatic effect
- Be set around Christmas
- Have attractive protagonists who are young (between 18 and 30)
- Include a character who does immoral things because when there are lots of good reasons for someone not to love a person, it makes the love more painful, passionate and powerful - attracting the audience emotionally and mentally
- Have a storyline with obstacles to overcome
- A kiss which has been long awaited for in a contrasting setting to make it memorable
