The type of people who are going to watch the film are called the Film audience. However, this does not necessarily mean that the type of audience you target your film at are the only people who will watch the film, there will also be viewers outside the target audience range.
The films visual interpretation or 'look' has been specially thought out by the producers to attract a specific type of audience. Therefore, the name of the film, the layout and the colors used within the films cover image are chosen very carefully and give indications of the films storyline.
Categorizing a film bases the film on the stereotypical factors of that type of person, however the film industry will include factors that attract different audiences in to widen their audience amount.
